Professor of English at Central Washington University, Loretta Gray has three degrees related to her interest in composition and applied linguistics: Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language (School for International Training), Master of Arts in Spanish (Middlebury College), and Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Linguistics (Boston University). I "met" Margaret Feinberg several years ago when I first read her book FIGHT BACK WITH JOY. I have been in love with her and everything about her ever since. I've been looking forward to this book ever since I finished Scouting the Divine (hoping it would be written before it was ever a thing). I have been so fortunate to be on this launch team where I received the first 3 chapters. Those chapters literally left my mouth watering. The fruit so close and so far.My ordered copy arrived yesterday afternoon and I finished it this morning!In Taste and See, Discovering God Among Butchers, Bakers and Fresh Food Makers, Feinburg has again brought the Bible to life. She has investigated and discovered a fresh insight to the Word. Staying true to Scripture, she has looked to biblical references for several common foods and professions and given new perspective that has been lost from modern context. Feinberg's writing is down to earth, knowledgeable, and full of love for God.Now I'm looking forward to prepping (and eating!) the included recipes, as well as inviting friends to join in.I highly recommend readingTaste and See. Your perspective on food and the Bible will be better for it.

Taste and See by Margaret Feinberg merges Food, Friends and Bible Study. Recipes are even included! For a Christian, I just don't see how it gets much better than this.Each chapter in Taste and See is a culinary adventure with a different location featured. The author shares her adventures as she mixes food and God together and comes up with a recipe for the reader learning and growing through each chapter. At the end of each chapter, Feinberg offers an activity to do with family and/or friends around the table. There are also several recipes that look truly delicious. I especially like that the Bible is set in the Mediterranean area so these recipes are all a part of the Mediterranean diet that I choose to do each day for my health. There are recipes for baked halibut, lamb lollipops, sour dough starter and bread, roasted figs and Brussels sprouts, and gluten free dark chocolate cookies. In the back of Taste and See, there is a list of all of the recipes for easy reference. I confess that I haven't tried one yet, but I picked out several that I want to try. The recipes look easy to follow in the way they are written.I especially like how conversational and down-to-earth Feinberg is in Taste and See. It was both interesting and fun to read. There are also fun pictures of Feinberg as she went to each of the places mentioned in the book to do her research. It isn't hard to visualize her making the travels or cooking with her husband. There are also side bars with extra tidbits of interesting information and simple activities to do to put faith in action. I think this would be such a fun book to do in a small group or with a group of foodie friends. I truly enjoyed the whole book.

I feel so very privileged to have been one of the first to review the first three chapters of Margaret Feinbergâ€™s literary morsel, Taste and See: Discovering God among Butchers, Bakers and Fresh Food Makers. In true Margaret fashion we are immediately swept into a world of vibrant images as she paints word pictures for us connecting the food we put in our bellies and the food we create from God. The bond between reclining at the table for physical sustenance and supping at Godâ€™s table with His Word as the food we need to feed our spirometer.Who knew that learning about figs would awaken anticipation and create expectancy regarding where God is at work in our lives. About the Author

Dr P John Keane, PhD, MSc, FCIOB, FCIArb DipArb has 35 years’ experience in the construction industry and is currently principal of a private consultancy practice. Following training as a quantity surveyor, he graduated into construction and commercial management practice, subsequently holding executive directorships within contracting and professional consulting firms. In the last 25 years John Keane specialised in the area of dispute resolution and has represented parties in arbitration, adjudication and mediation. He has extensive UK and international experience, particularly in the preparation and delivery of expert witness testimony with regard to delay and programming disputes. He is an experienced arbitrator, author, and speaker. He also lectures to undergraduate and post graduate students on construction law related topics. Anthony F. Caletka, PE, CFCC, CCM is a civil engineer with over 25 years' experience in construction project and programme management, particularly on large civil engineering projects within the energy, mining, power, and utility sectors, and is a principal in a multinational professional services firm. He establishes governance frameworks, contract strategies, project control systems and tools aligned with global best practice which in turn contribute to the avoidance and resolution of disputes. Tony is a recognised expert in critical path programming, forensic scheduling, earned value and risk management. He has extensive experience in the delivery of expert witness testimony and advising parties in all dispute resolution forums. He is a frequent speaker and lecturers to post graduate students on project management and forensic scheduling. He was a member of the drafting committee which produced the SCL Delay and Disruption Protocol.

I ordered "Sole Guidance" recently and my feet are tingling! I discovered Holly Tse's website and newsletter through Pinterest and that led me to ordering her book. I am thankful I did. A couple of months ago I wouldn't have considered foot reflexology but my soul knows what's good for me! I had known of the practice of Chinese foot massage but didn't realize I could learn to do it for myself until I came across this book. To have my energy back is one reason I got the book. There is so much more to be discovered in this enjoyable and easy reading guide. I have had the deepest, uninterrupted night's sleep the last three nights than I've had in a long time. I love and appreciate the work of Holly Tse's, "Sole Guidance".

I rarely write reviews on books but I simply had to say that I loved this book, the ease in which Holly writes and seeing simple illustrations of exactlywhat to do and where.... It's a book filled with so much simple to understand information required to be able to treat parts of oneself and most people would never think or know that reflexology is healing to the whole body....And helpful for the mind, the soul and for being able to feel empowered by participating in one's own healing process. That's what I like best, that nobody needs to do this for me.I've always been interested in reflexology but never liked acupuncture....so no needles, just massage, this is what I like..I have many books on this subject. Most of those books gave me too much information I often couldn't understand.. Maybe I would look up one thing, but as far as sitting down and having the desire to read one of those reference books, I merely put those books on a shelf with all the other books that were similar and kept searching for a book on reflexology that really resonated with me. The reviews were sogood that I felt compelled to buy it....And now I can say, this is my favorite book on this subject. I love reading it from a Chinese perspective... Iloved reading this from the first paragraph, wanting to get deeper and deeper into the information until I found myself sitting there without wantingto stop reading.

I didn't really know what to expect when I read this book and tried the Chinese reflexology routines Holly laid out. But I am very pleased! I'm feeling better and looking better. I even had a colleague comment on how well I looked. I had no idea that the points on my feet (which are really painful) could correspond to my health issues. I'm definitely going to keep this up. Many thanks to Holly for sharing her expertise!

The books touches my soles and soul. I got this one when I was fighting my adrenal fatigue a while back. I have tried all means of healing and one day when I looked at my feet, it dawned on me that it could be the answer. I read it and love the guidance Holly provides in this book. I have had a bunch of reflexology books but this one is special. She is caring and spiritual from inside and out. I felt an instant connection with her guidance. Read it and see for yourself and your soles. (I am a barefoot runner and hiker)

Loving this book! It's very informative and easy to read. It is even more interesting than I thought it would be and is a great resource to have on hand when you need to look up reflex points. I learned about and reflected on a lot of good points about emotional and physical healing and how important the two components are. I recommend this book!

A very helpful book! I really appreciate how Holly explains the different acupressure points and I like her humor. She demystifies the world of reflexology and puts it in lay person terms so the examples are easy to follow. And straightforward to work into your daily routine.

Excellent book, the author is a very good teacher, and I have been doing acupressure and reflexology for about 40 years and she taught me a few new tricks.
